Upcoming Worship Services
March 7. The Spirituality of Play.
Why should worship and spirituality be serious . . . be work? They shouldn’t!
Reverend LaMar; Kim Metz, Worship Associate
March 14. A Tempered Home.
We return to the virtue of temperance and the heartbreak of addiction today, following on from the January 3rd sermon on “A Tempered Life.” Addiction is not only about the individual – it cycles outward, with many effects. We will look today specifically at the family.
Reverend LaMar; David Fu, Worship Associate
March 21. Gentle Me Into an Unclenched Moment.
This line from a favorite prayer by Ted Loder reminds us to be gentle . . civil. . . calm. That works until someone isn’t with us! Then what?
Reverend LaMar; Ostara Hollyoak, Worship Associate
March 28. Passing Over/Passing Through.
Today is Palm Sunday and Passover is well underway. Both stories combine fear and violence with incredible hope and joy. What about us, today?
Reverend LaMar; Kim Metz, Worship Associate
Sundays After . . .
On many Sundays, you are invited to meet after worship for small group reflection on the Sunday service. At 11:30, we will meet in the music room behind the stage. This is an opportunity to share faith journeys by reflecting together on such questions as: What did the service raise for you? Do you have a different take on things? How might you take the message out into the world? Please join us! The next one will be held on December 6th.
