Building Your Own Theology with Rev. Jane Bennett Smith<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the unique wonders of Unitarian Universalism is the opportunity to explore and create our own theologies. We can navigate our own understanding of the sacred and how this impacts our daily lives.\u00a0 How do we understand the divine? How do we make sense of and give meaning to our own lives? Among us we have religious humanists, theists, earth-centered believers, and more.\u00a0 I believe we are always on a journey towards understanding our own theologies on a deeper level – I know I am.\u00a0 Something so meaningful and elusive can serve to stimulate a continuous exploration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

I invite us to engage more deeply with our own unique theologies.\u00a0\u00a0Together, we have the opportunity to work through a ten session workbook that aims to explore our own personal meaning-making.\u00a0 Through readings, activities and discussion, we explore and craft our own theologies.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0I will lead these sessions, and I invite you to join me on this journey! In order to best do the work together, we need about five participants.\u00a0 If you are interested in exploring theology with me, please let me know by August 29. I will hold these sessions on Saturday mornings from 10-12pm beginning on September 13<\/u><\/strong>.
