Rev. Jane Smith received her Master of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2018. During her seminary education, she served for two years as a ministerial intern at the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis. Rev. Jane also served as a student chaplain at Omegon Residential Treatment Center, where she worked with teenagers struggling with mental illness and addiction. In June of 2019, Rev. Jane was ordained by First Unitarian Society. Before pursuing her call to ministry, she received her undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology and Religious Studies from Rutgers University in her home state of New Jersey. In her free time, Rev. Jane loves baking, hiking, reading a good novel, and going out to eat with her husband Eric. Rev. Jane is honored and delighted to be called to Channing Memorial Church, Unitarian Universalist.
