Channing Memorial Church values religious education for Unitarian Universalists of all ages.
Religious Education for Youth is now offered at Channing Memorial Church! After The Story for All Ages, children meet with Channing RE Youth Group Leader, Julia Lawrence, for meetings downstairs at Epiphany in the “Little Room” for the duration of the service.
The aim is for activities to center around the current theme of the month or topic presented during services and is related to Unitarian Universalist Values. RE meetings are conducted in a supportive atmosphere, respectful of and caring toward all participants present. All activity supplies are provided.
An RE youth group geared to ages from 5 to 10 years is currently taking place on the Second Sunday of the month. A group for older children is also available and would also meet once a month, however is not presently occurring due to lack of participants.
