We connect learning with action, bringing people together to explore social justice, practice change, and share skills for everyday life. Our plan is that each month we either meet to discuss a book on a social justice issue, or meet to take action related to something we’ve learned about in the previous month.
Join us to kick off the year with a Skill Sharing Circle at Central Branch Library (Collage Conference Room) on Saturday, 9/20, 1:00–3:00 PM. In past circles, we’ve learned how to make sourdough, sew a button, and even “stop the bleed.” If you’d like to demonstrate a simple skill, email socialjustice@
At this gathering, we’ll also choose our October book and issue focus. If you’d like to learn, share, or join our social justice journey, contact Rev. Jane or Ari Zastrow (arimudan@gmail.com) for more details.
