All are welcome to join us for worship Sundays at 11:00 AM. The service will be multi-platform, both in-person and streamed onto Zoom. A recording will be available on the church’s YouTube channel no later than the following Tuesday.
“Through Loving Kindness” with Rev. Jane Bennett Smith
Living a life of compassion is a key practice of the Buddhist faith. Buddhists regularly engage in meditation practices that serve to cultivate mindfulness, which is the foundation of a compassionate lifestyle. A teacher once taught me: every moment of mindfulness is a moment of compassion. By centering in the mind and in the heart, followers cultivate the impetus to ease the world’s suffering. We ask, what does suffering mean to Buddhists, and how do they work to alleviate it?
For those gathering online:
We are providing a live-stream of the worship service, starting at 11:00 a.m.
