Film screening: “God & Country,” with CMC’s Justice in Action Circle & AU Maryland
Please consider joining us on May 31st at the East Columbia library branch for a screening of the documentary film, “God & Country.”
Channing’s Justice in Action Circle (JAC) is teaming up with the Maryland Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AU Maryland) to host a free public screening of this 2024 documentary directed by Dan Partland and produced by Rob Reiner. The film, based on Katherine Stewart’s The Power Worshippers, explores the rise and implications of Christian nationalism in our nation. We’ll gather at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31st in the Lucille Clifton Rooms of the Howard County Library System’s East Columbia Branch (6600 Cradlerock Way). The film will begin showing at 10:15.
