You are invited to join our Justice in Action Circle for an important book discussion.
What does it mean to belong in America when your identity makes you a target of suspicion? In How Does It Feel to Be a Problem? by Moustafa Bayoumi, readers follow the lives of young Muslim Americans navigating fear, prejudice, family expectations, and the search for identity in the years after 9/11. Through deeply personal stories, the book challenges readers to think about racism, religious discrimination, immigration, civil liberties, and what justice truly looks like in a diverse society.
Join us for our discussion on May 30 from 1:00–3:00 PM in the Collage Conference Room at the Central Branch Library.
We hope to see you there!
