“Radiant with Mystery” with Rev. Jane Bennett Smith
Curiosity invites us into the great mystery of life, awakening wonder and awe for the world around us. Both science and theology remind us that we are part of something far greater than ourselves, calling us to pay attention to the beauty and mystery inherent in existence. In embracing wonder and the courage of not knowing, we begin to ask deep questions: how shall we find meaning within a life of abiding mystery?
Flower Communion
This colorful and fragrant time of year is a true blessing. A quiet, contemplative winter has transitioned to the tender, new life of spring. Each day the landscape continues to transform as lush green bushes and trees contrast with delicate pinks, soft yellows, and vibrant blues. I invite you to intentionally encounter your flourishing surroundings with purpose, wonder, and awe. Pause for a moment, and welcome the natural beauty. In this intentional mindset, I invite you to choose a favorite flower and bring it with you to worship. Together, we honor a time honored tradition, joining together with these blossoms for reflection, celebration, and a blessing. Each of us will leave the sanctuary with a different flower. Join us in celebration of this blessed season.
