When? Saturday, November 5th, 1:00-3:00p.m.
What’s a brainstorming party? A social occasion to engage the playful, sacred, creative parts of our brains. We’ll join in some light-hearted, game-like activities designed to help “seed” the Worship Team’s planning for the December season’s services. The intent is to allow the season’s liturgy to emerge from the wellspring of our collective backgrounds, experiences, hearts, and thoughts.
What is this not? A meeting. Work. A planning/decision-making session. A commitment to do something. (Seriously!)
Will there be snacks? Of course! And warm cider, too! Plus time to freely socialize when the games are finished.
Will it be cold? We’ll be gathering around a fire pit 🔥 with our warm cider ☕. (But it is
November 🍁🍂, so dress in layers!) 🙂
Our Soul Matters theme for December is “Wonder.” This season, in the spirit of wonder, let’s coax something unique from the creative collectivity that is Channing Memorial Church!
