All are welcome to join us for worship Sundays at 10:30 AM.
The link above is for use this Sunday and for other Sunday services hosted by Cedarhurst this summer. This is a different link from the one we normally use for Channing worship, which we will still use for services hosted by Channing this summer.
“Equanimity” – with Alan Bogage of Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists
Life is filled with loss, suffering, pleasures, and beauty. How can we cope with this variety of ups and downs without latching on to either? Buddhists suggest that we cultivate equanimity. This Sunday we will explore one of the four Buddhist Perfect Virtues which teaches us to cultivate the quality of inner peace amidst change, disappointment, surprise, and reactivity. We will discuss equanimity and how it may help achieve a balanced heart.
Alan Bogage is the past Worship Committee chair of Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists. This will be a multi-platform service offered in person at Cedarhurst, and Channing MC participants will join by Zoom.
