Last Saturday, a group of us learned about how a church can legally discuss politics both within the congregation and with the community at large. This Saturday, we have the opportunity to delve deep into how we, as Channing Memorial Church, would like to engage in partisan talk within our sacred community. Our discussion will be framed by our church covenant. This session will begin with guided conversations for small break-out groups, followed with ample time for discussion as well as a question and answer session. There is no need to have attended the previous session in order to participate.
