In the time of the winter solstice, we celebrate a pause that results in the return of sunlight. We honor an awakening from rest, ushering in a new season of energy following a time of rest and introspection. During Hanukkah, we celebrate the candle flame that kept faith alive. Throughout this period of the shifting of daytime and of the Festival of Lights, we reflect on the blessings of darkness and the sacredness of light. How can we enrich our lives by embracing both?

The service will be held at Robinson Nature Center, located at: 6692 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044
Plenty of parking is available. The building is accessible and the service will be held on the lower level in a meeting room.
The service will be recorded and released over Youtube; we are not doing a livestream of the event. We will let you know when the recording is available. We will also post a link in the sermons section of the website.
