Today we garner wisdom from Jack Kornfield, a trained Buddhist monk. We each face obstacles to personal freedom and happiness. As we move forward guided by a life of compassion, we can embrace imperfection, welcome an open mind, and bless the world with our own authenticity. Even amongst challenging times we can center, opening our minds and hearts. Today, grounded in the practice of mindfulness, we explore finding the true joy in being alive.

New to Unitarian Universalism? New to Channing Memorial Church? Been around for a while, but want a refresher? Join Rev. Jane after worship on April 25 to discuss our faith. We’ll explore our history, our Principles, and what this means today. We’ll also get a glimpse into the history and happenings of this special congregation. This is also an opportunity to get to know a bit more about one another! I invite anyone who may be interested to grab a cup of coffee, a snack, and join in on the conversation. The program will run from about 11:15-12:45.
