An examined faith is full of “what if” questions. This Sunday, we explore the question, “What if this life is all we have?” We will assume that there is no afterlife, that the humanity that holds our legacy and memory will perish, and that, ultimately, the universe will come to an end. Eventually, there will not even be an inkling of a memory of us or anyone we love. Together, we explore the meaning in life and purpose of life when our short decades in this realm are the entirety of our existence. Spoiler alert – it’s beautiful!
