The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a guiding force of nonviolence and agape love amidst a broken world. He teaches us how to respond to evil in the world without hate or indifference. King’s actions are theologically grounded, rooted deeply in his faith. How can we embody his teachings amidst our current day social maladies?
We are inundated each day with the fear, anger, and anxiety that accompanies rising fascism. Many of us ask, what can I possibly do? With heightened awareness of the world around us, we can respond with spiritually grounded actions to resist growing tyranny. We put justice and faith into action as we continuously work to promote a safe and equitable society.
